Who are Matt and Kristen McAsey
Matt:"I grew up on a small farm in the middle of Kansas. Most would probably consider me a small town midwestern guy. As a down to earth, very relaxed individual, I try not to let anything get to me..."
Kristen: "I also come from country livin' in Northeast Kansas. I grew up as a tomboy, but learned to experience and appreciate the more feminine aspects in life as I left my home nest. Perhaps I'm a little highstrung, but Matt keeps me in check!"
Matt: "I have struggled with constant allergies my entire life. I was sick often throughout my childhood, which probably hindered my ability to learn when I was young. We tried everything from prescription drugs to shots. The prescriptions never seemed to work and I had severe reactions to the shots. Thankfully, God saw it fit to bring Shaklee into my life. With the help of these all natural, pure products, my life has truly been changed. I feel great and I haven't had to take any allergy medicine since I began the nutritional program through Shaklee. There is just something different about these products that you have to try to really feel the impact they make."
Kristen: "I married into Shaklee, as Matt and his family had been involved with the company and its products for over 15 years. When we became pregnant with our first child, Matt started me on Vita-Lea as my prenatal care. I've been hooked ever since! We're raising our Shaklee babies (from the womb), appreciating the minimal trips to the doctors, as the appointments we have are typically the well child check ups. Knowing we're surrounding our kids with the safest toxic free environment we can, and feeding them the purest supplements we can find sure lets this Mom rest easy at night! Shaklee's business opportunities have also enabled me to reach my dream job - being a full time stay at home mom."
We are both graduates of Kansas State University (GO CATS!!), Matt having majored in Kinesiology (the study of human movement) and Kristen in Apparel and Textile Design. Matt served 4 years in the US Navy, the last 6 months of his enlistment was spent on the USS. George Washington as an aircraft mechanic. Boy meets girl, and we wed while attending KSU. Jayce, our oldest son, arrived just shy of graduation. Then, April 23rd, 2010 we were blessed with our second child, Eden.
Matt: "I really enjoy spending time outside doing several things: fishing, working on my old pickup, spending time with my family, boating, and mowing (YES I DO ENJOY IT.) For the most part if I'm outside in nice weather, I'm loving life. I play or have tried about any sport imaginable. I even rode a bull once in a Jr. Rodeo. Hunting, fishing and just hanging out with my friends and family keeps me busy. One of the coolest things I have done is four-wheeling in the desert of the United Arab Emerits. It was one of the greatest memories that I received from my enlistment in the Navy."
Kristen: "You can find me in the kitchen! Bless his heart, Matt's a great guinea pig for all the new recipes I love to try. Jayce is my honest little critic, and Eden, like his daddy, will eat just about anything. I also love attending my Mother's Prayer group, MOPS (mothers of preschoolers), and PAT (parents as teachers) play group. If there's a social event, you can usually see me draggin' the kids along to it."
Matt: "I have a passion for "strength & conditioning" and staying healthy without the use of drugs."
"Some of my knowledge about health can be found in my MGM Supplement Blog (LINK)... I sincerely enjoy seeing others succeed. In fact, that is a reason that I really gravitated to Shaklee. In Shaklee, those who really succeed are the ones that teach others to succeed. It is truly an awesome concept!!"
Where are we right now? We're out enjoying life...probably outside somewhere taking something apart, in the kitchen cooking up a storm, or just spending time together!! Give us a call, and if we don't answer right away leave a message and we'll call you back! Here's to keeping healthy.
