Who is Matt McAsey

I grew up on a small farm  in the middle of Kansas and had really never been away from home too long before joining the Navy.  The Navy enabled me to see how the rest of the world lived and how sheltered I actually was. 

I have struggled with contant allergies my entire life. I was sick often throughout my childhood, which probably hindered my ability to learn when I was young. We tried everything from perscription drugs to shots.  The perscriptions never seemed to work and I had severe reactions to the shots. Thankfully, God saw fit to bring Shaklee into my life.  With the help of these all natural, pure products, my life has truly been changed.  I feel great and I haven't had take any allergie medicine since I began the nutrional program through Shaklee. There is just something different about these products that you have to try to really feel the impact they make.

I'm a graduate of Kansas State University (GO CATS!!) majoring in Kinesiology (the study of human movement). I served 4 years in the US Navy, the last 6 months of my enlistment was spent on the USS. George Washington as an aircraft mechanic. I met my wife Kristen while attending KSU and not to long after graduation came Jayce, our little pride and joy.

I love going to College sporting events, especially football tailgating.  For me there is nothing more relaxing than tossing a football around with the smell of charcole in the air. 

I also really enjoy gardening. To be able to plant something and watch it grow, then reap the benifits is really neat to me.  In fact, that is one of the things that gravitated me to Shaklee.  I see the benifit of not having to compete with someone else to get to the top.  In a normal job, I would have to work my tail off for the benifit of the company.  Sure I would get a retirment package and possibly a 401K, but then what.  Would that really be enough? 

So with my Shaklee business, I just create a network that can continue to grow. (kinda like planting a seed)  And the best part is, all the work I put into it, goes to me.  I can reap all the finacial benifits, unlike a normal job where I would always be working for someone elses goals.  For me it just makes sence.

 I play or have tried about any sport imaginable. I even rode  bull once in a Jr. Rodeo. Hunting, fishing and just hanging out  with my friends and family keeps me busy. One of the coolest thing I have done is four-wheeling in the desert of the United Arab Emerits.  It was one of the greatest memories that I recieved from my enlistment in the Navy.

  I  have a passion for  "strength & conditioning" and staying healthy without the use of drugs.   

Some of my knowledge about health can be found my MGM Supplment Blog (LINK)... Since finishing my degree at K State, I work for the US Army. I develop and coordinate special sporting events such as; triathlons, marathons, softball tournaments, football tournaments, and other physical activities for the soldiers to participate in. I sincerely enjoy seeing others succeed.  In fact, that is another reason that really gravitated me to Shaklee. Becuase in Shaklee, those who really suceed are the ones that teach other to suceed.  It is an awsome concept!!
